Fresh from the Bush Every July & August

Every July and August, we throw open our gates and let our customers loose on our plantations. Our Pick Your Own (PYO) blueberry plantations in Dorset are based on one of our oldest fields, dating back to 1963, where we have 8 different varieties, all with their own taste and texture.

Take advantage of PYO season to store our blueberries for the winter months, when fresh blueberries have travelled thousands of miles from the southern hemisphere, having been harvested under ripe and stored in conntrolled atmosphere for the journey. Bring our lovely sweet Dorset blueberries from your freezer in mid winter is a joy just in itself.

Our friendly staff even let you taste before you pick!

Blueberries are very easy to pick, they dont have thorns and you dont have to bend down to get to them. Our rows are even accessible to wheelchairs!

We only have two rules and they are that you enjoy yourselves and that you respect our plantations by not eating our fruit before you've paid for it.

  • Open 10am til 4pm every day
  • Open to the public from late July
  • Phone before you travel to check availability 01202 873642
  • PYO £7.50 per Kg for 2014 dropping to £7.00 if you pick over 1 kg
  • Fresh Picked from £1.50 / punnet
  • Plants for growing your own available

Change of Management - Still the same great blues!

My mother and I started a fledgling PYO unit at our farm in 1992. Since 1996, Jeremy Trehane has owned and run the PYO business and really put it on the map both locally and nationally with his attention to fine detail and as always, fabulous fruit.
Now there's a new face at the top. Josh has now taken over the management of the PYO part of the business and we look forward to welcoming him this season.
Josh will now be solely responsible for communicating with PYO customers directly, managing the facebook page and everything else PYO.
More details will follow as we approach harvest season.
